Re: January japery

How many right-backs do we need ffs?

We'll now have three decent RBs and only one LB.

Re: George Cooper

@DMAC102 So after been accused of being selling club by some cynics (2 years ago when we last sold high value asset) today’s addition takes our spending over £500k Mark in Jan alone & lot more since summer. Don’t ever question my ambition or thirst for success for @theposhofficial thanks Only compl...

Welcome to Posh Geotge, looking forward to see you play
As am I, but unless we sell Marcus I can see there being some serious arguments at freekick and corner time
No there won't. Marcus will obiovusly take them. Danny Lloyd has already proven this.

Re: George Cooper

Yet another club insisting on the fee remaining undisclosed!

Amazing how often this happens, given it's never DMac who insists on it...

Been on our radar for a while this lad. Don't see him as a replacement for MM myself.

Re: FA Cup Fourth round Posh v Leicester

That's the way it is. If the fans were that passionately opposed, things would eventually change, but they're not, and it's right just accepted. This whole romance of the Cup nonsense if just funny these days. As is the fact that BBCa are turning over an entire evening schedule to a third round repl...

Re: January japery

So it should be. DMac bought him for less than half a million and can sell him six months later for ten times that. Kudos. Not many were lauding him as a signing at the time, as they were all wrapped up in that joke Gormley character. Watch them start moaning though if he goes and the goals dry up. ...

Re: January japery

Is it likely that JM leaves? Possible, likely, probable or unlikely. We're all guessing tbh.

Re: FA Cup Fourth round Posh v Leicester

No PL teams, aside from the top six, seem to take the FA Cup any more. They, like the rest of us, know that one of the big boys will almost certainly win it, and they're better off gunning for as high a finishing position as possible. By the way, I doni't know if I've mentioned it before, but Leices...

Re: January japery

Seriously though,i remember going to Scunthorpe and we thrashed them 4-0,Westley had lots of banter with the fans, Posh were looking good for a playoff spot. Then Washington,a striker it took us 2 years to nurture, was off to QPR and the season fell apart. Yeah, that's what did it. Not the ridiculous...

Re: January japery

I'd say every window since Meddles got the boot has been a success. Good luck Barnet! We should never forget that season. Ten left-backs including Maddison, Simon Gillett on loan. It's funny reading his occasional columns in the FLP, where he takes credit for various stuff during his time at Posh. G...
