Re: Scunthorpe V Peterborough a Place for a Pint

Grant's interview pretty interesting this time. "Apparently Leo's not a wing back" he said in response to fans' criticism. Forums are powerful tools. Whether it was here, on the totally inaccessible Londonroad.net or on Facebook that he saw the rants...gives one a reason to carry on giving opinions ...

Re: Steven Taylor interview

Was referring to the whole team rather than Taylor, who's been fantastic on the whole.

Maybe Bristol Rovers could be prevailed upon to loan us Tom Nichols.

Re: Leo - an appeal .........

Aaah yes, the correct mutual footballing manner. If I had a pound for every time I've used that expression...

Re: Leo - an appeal .........

Hear hear!

Unfortunately the non-groaners are in the minority.

It's like the old Roker Roar, but it's the ABAX Groan.

Re: Southend v Posh

Besides which, we only need one striker as long as Gwion and MM are fit and played in their rightful positions.

Re: Southend v Posh

Some of the football was ok, mot much more than that. And only when we passed it through them. The occasional punt up field frm Taff is ok when it's something different, but not the whole time. Jermaine looks on the way back. LDSL is capable of tearing up this league talent-wise, but the Family Sta...

Re: Southend v Posh

Premier League scouts being present the reason for LDSL's improved efforts?

Let's hope not. Needs to do it more than the odd game though.

Re: This season

Hughes as left wing-back, Gwion at right wing-back, LDSL holding midfielder, MM up front.

Baldwin makes way more mistakes as part of a three than in a two for some reason.

It all comes back to the man in charge but this is 100% not a promotion team. Too good for relegation though.

Re: Southend v Posh

Good old Calamity Jack! Warmed up with a blunder before the pearler that gifted them their goal. We're fragile for sure but so are Southend. Normally a game v Posh is just what the doctor ordered to end a losing run, but not this time. Leo is a player after all. Who knew? Glad Gormley has been dropp...

Re: Southend v Posh

Betting gone massively the other way this morning.

Southend now around 6-4 and Posh edging towards 2-1.

That's more accurate!
